USB Type-C has gained market acceptance and rapid development since its birth because of its easy-to-use and close to customer needs. In order to adapt to the new interface standards, the MHL Alliance subsequently issued the MHL Alternate Mode (MHL Alt Mode) standard. Abdullah Raouf explains that Alt Mode allows up to 10 redefined applications, requiring PD communications for configuration, supporting USB 2.0, and according to configuration, Alt Mode can transmit USB 3.1 data. "Currently standardized include superMHL, Thunderbolt and DisplayPort. The difference between the three standardized Alt Modes is that superMHL can support 1, 2 or 4 channels, depending on the video resolution, but Thunderbolt can only support 4 channels. DisplayPort is similar to superMHL.
